Marcia is originally from Chicago. She attended her first CAJE conference in 1979 when she first started teaching at the Jewish Day School in Omaha NE. Marcia currently lives in San Diego and has worked in various Jewish organizations, and for 20 years at the Agency for Jewish Education. Most recently her positions have involved Holocaust education through the Jewish Federation, Congregation Beth Israel and March of the Living. Marcia has a Masters in Social Work and in Jewish Studies. As a graduate of Baltimore Institute for Jewish Communal Service, she received her masters in Social Work from the University of Maryland School of Social Work and masters in Jewish History from the Baltimore Hebrew College. She is married and has three adult children.
